Why does the Black Market exist?
In the US alone about 113,100 people are currently waiting for organ transplants, and roughly 14,144 organs were donated in the year 2011. On average 18 people die a day waiting on a n organ transplant.
Science is also consistantly seeking bodies too: Around 11,000 bodies were donated research in 2011.
Now let's enter the Black Market:Your one stop shop for blood, bones and body parts. In the US alone, over the past 25years an estimated 1,700 families have reported thier loved one's bodies being stolen, and over $6million made in estimated profits changed hands for stolen body parts.
How does it all work?:A broker will solicit funeral homes to illegally provide body parts for payment. Even if most funeral homes turn these brokers away it only takes one crooked employee to supply parts. Parts may be removed surgacilly and then the body is sewn shut and re-dressed to disguise the theft. Or, if the body is cremated only a prtion of the ashes returned to the family may be real.

There are also growing incidents of Blood Farming occouring across the world today now too, where hostages are held and milked for blood for an extended period of time.

In 2005, a New Jersey had two discs in her back replaced, and only after discovered that her new bones had been illegally stolen from the dead.

In 2010, a Southwest Airlines employee discovered a shipment of dozens of Human Heads in the cargo hold.
